SourceFinder

The SourceFinder Department aids Gateway students, faculty, and staff in obtaining materials not available at Gateway Community and Technical College or Steely Library. Please check the library catalog - NKUIRE to determine if the materials you need are available before you make a SourceFinder request.

Materials can be requested through Steely Library's SourceFinder automated service by following the link and signing up for a user account. Gateway faculty and students should indicate their status as a Gateway Community College Patron in the appropriate box.

With SourceFinder you only need to enter your personal information one time - during the initial registration. After that you will be able to log into your personal SourceFinder account to make requests, view the status of your requests, renew items, and pick up your electronically delivered materials.

What kinds of things can be borrowed through SourceFinder?

  • Books
  • Articles from magazines and journals
  • Videos
  • Audio tapes
  • Microfilm and microfiche

On average, it takes SourceFinder materials 7 to 10 days to arrive. Materials that are not delivered electronically can be picked up at the third floor Public Service Desk in Steely Library.

For more information on this service, please visit the SourceFinder policy page.
