Steely Library users have access to over 200 databases and indexes, many of them containing full-text articles. You can use this search tool to locate the perfect database, or to search directly for articles.

Electronic Journals

This tool allows library users to find entire electronic journals. Can be searched by journal title or journal subject.

Media Collection

Search the NKU libraries for movies, music, audio books, computer software, and other items that are not printed on paper.

Special Collections & Archives

The Eva G. Farris Special Collections and Schlachter Archives at Northern Kentucky University is located on the first floor of Steely Library. The department documents the history of the people, events, activities, and buildings associated with the university from its founding forward.

The department also collects material documenting the history and heritage of the northern Kentucky region, the Ohio River Valley, slavery, the Underground Railroad, Appalachian writers, and military history.
