Encompassing every agency, college, and department of NKU, this collection brings together records, forms, posters, handbooks, manuals, policies, manuscripts, and other print and ephemeral materials documenting the establishment, organization, activity, and progressing development of the Northern Kentucky University community.

Many documents such as annual reports, catalogs, Board of Regents minutes, etc. are on reserve at the Steely Library circulation desk. To determine if a report is on reserve, type the name of the document into NKUIRE and do a "keyword relevance" search.

The material stored in Special Collections is listed in the University Archives Inventory.

An ongoing collection, University Archives items are added on a continual basis.
