Journals

The Serials Department is part of the Technical Services Division of Steely Library, located on the second floor in Room 250. The department is responsible for ordering all new serial titles, claiming materials not received, reordering missing or damaged issues, renewing subscriptions and maintaining accurate holdings information in NKUIRE.

Serial publications include newspapers, magazines, journals, books in series, conference proceedings, transactions, reports, papers of societies, or any other publication issued in sequence with no intention of cessation. All serials are checked in on the Voyager acquisitions module, allowing instant electronic access to the latest receipt information in NKUIRE.
