- Encyclopedia of the American Constitution
- Location: REF KF 4558 .E53 Coverage: 1986,1992, supplement Articles in this resource discuss a wide range of constitutional law and Supreme Court issues, including doctrinal concepts, judicial decisions, legislation, and historical periods.
- West's Encyclopedia of American Law 1998
- Location: REF KF 154 .W57 1998 An excellent source providing discussions of the major issues that the focus of the U.S. body of laws. Example entries are "affirmative action," summery legislative histories, court cases, and regulatory actions are presented.
- Encyclopedia of Third Parties in the United States 1991
- Location: REF JK 2261 .K78 1991 Provides an overview of significant and marginal American third parties. Entries discuss a party's origin, objectives, history, and members. Most entries include a short bibliography.
- Historic U.S. Court Cases: 1690-1990, 1992
- Location: REF KF 385 .A4 J64 1992 Provides informative summary essays and selected bibliographies on more than 100 significant U.S. court cases. Subjects range from the Salem Witch raft Trials to privacy issues.
- Statistical Abstract of the United States
- Location: Gov Doc C 3.134, Information Desk(also available online) Coverage:1879-present Coverage: current year Presents summary statistical data dealing with political, social, and economical aspects of the United States. Generally, tabular data covers a 15-20 year period. This work will identify the primary source of the data and can lead to further information. The online version is abridged.
