Europa World Year Book
Location: REF JN 1 .E85 The granddaddy of one-stop sources for becoming an "instant expert" on any country in the world, this source is published annually by the respected Europa Publications. It has no online counterpart, so it is well worth the trip to the library to begin your research here. Use the lengthy introductory article on your country to identify key issues, historical and economic trends, and other significant data. Be sure to use the latest annual volume for the most current information.
Encyclopedia of Africa South of the Sahara
Location: REF DT 351 .E53 1997 This multi-volume set has a wealth of information on the countries you are studying and is definitely one of the top sources to consult. Use it to identify areas for further study, then update your knowledge with the help of periodical articles, recently-published books, etc.
