Dictionary of Modern Biology (1997)

McGraw-Hill Dictionary of Bioscience (1997)
Location: REF QH 302.5 .M382 1997 A good general biology dictionary. Includes synonyms, acronyms and abbreviations. Provides pronunciation guide.
A Dictionary of Genetics (1996)
Location: REF QH 427 .K55 1996 A very useful specialized subject dictionary which includes many terms not found in general biology dictionaries. (Several other subject dictionaries are also available in the Q and R sections of the reference area.)
