- When finished, it will be a complete list of all full text periodicals available through Steely Library.
- The list includes periodicals available in full-text through our various online databases as well as those for which we have individual online subscriptions.
- The list also includes periodicals for which we have only print or microform subscriptions.
- You can link directly from the list to the database(s) which contain the full text of a particular periodical.
- If a periodical is available in print, clicking on the "Search NKUIRE for print holdings" link takes you into the NKUIRE catalog record for the periodical.
- You can search the list by broad subject area.
- The list includes journals found through the scholarly journal sources listed below.

- The sources listed below not only contain the full-text online of many scholarly journals but are also searchable as databases in their own right.
Project Muse
- Published through Johns Hopkins University
- Approximately 200 current, full-text journals (most from 1999/2000- )
- Literature and criticism, history, the visual and performing arts, cultural studies, education, political science, gender studies, economics, and others
- Link to Project Muse from Steely Library's databases web page.
- Search all journals at once, or search each individually.
- To search any back issues of journals available through our JSTOR service, use the Advanced search feature and click the JSTOR search option.
- See a list of all journals available through this service either from the Project Muse Web site or by using NKUIRE's Other Searches tab and typing electronic access project muse in the call number field
JSTOR : the Scholarly Journal Archive
- Back issues of hundreds journal titles in many subject areas
- Please note: these are not current subscriptions. JSTOR is a one-time purchase of an archive of older issues available in full-text online.
- It is possible to search the entire database by using the JSTOR link on Steely Library's databases web page.
