About the Library
Description
- Original building was completed in 1975; a $9.1 million renovation and expansion project was completed in 1995.
- Named for W. Frank Steely, the first President of Northern Kentucky University.
- Located in the center of campus, the Library houses the general, reference, media, periodicals & microform collections, Special Collections & Archives, and the Learning Resource Collection, which contains materials in support of the teacher education program. It is also a large government depository for many federal and Kentucky state documents. Departments include Research & Instructional Services, Interlibrary Loan and Document Delivery, Systems, and Technical Services.
