Oral History: Newport, Kentucky clean-up

In the late 1950s a grass-roots movement formed to push the Cleveland Syndicate and their gambling operations out of Newport, Kentucky. The movement saw success in 1961, as many members of the mafia moved to other locations including the small town of Las Vegas, Nevada.

All of the interviews were conducted by historian, Dr. Lew Wallace. Transcripts are available for all the interviews.
