» Political Party Sites

There are a number of good sites that offer links to the websites of the various political parties. You might like going to the actual sites of the parties to locate platform information or more detailed descriptions of the parties themselves. Here are a few that we have selected, but there are undoubtedly a number of such websites that offer compilations of the political parties to aid you in your search.

Ron Gunzenberger's Politics 1.com
An extensive list of major political parties, as well as some that are quite obscure. While this site is sponsored by organizations that would normally be labeled as liberal, it does offer links to parties of both sides of the issues. Remember, you're going to be seeing advocacy pages throughout this research project.
University of Michigan Documents Center "United States Politics Page"
This site from the University Of Michigan's Documents Center is a very comprehensive site that offers thorough information on the national election topic.
Project Vote Smart Political Party Information
This website offers party contact information, as well as the location and date of national conventions for the major political parties.
