Photocopying Policy
- All materials must be copied by the staff of Special Collections and Archives.
- Rare books and fragile books/manuscripts may not be photocopied.
- Materials selected to be copied by the patron are subject to approval by the Curator.
- Prices are $0.05 per page for letter and legal sizes, $0.10 per page for oversized sheets.
- Copyright restrictions may apply on some materials.
- Requests for copies must be submitted one-half hour before the department closes.
- Every effort will be made to have requests completed the same day. However, due to large volumes of individual requests, the Special Collections and Archives staff reserves a 24-hour waiting period, if necessary, to complete requests.
- Some photographic materials may not be copied due to age, condition, or mounting.
- Textiles, ephemera, or other artifacts may not be photocopied. (This applies only to non-paper, non-print materials.)
We appreciate your cooperation in our effort to make our holdings readily available to our patrons and ensure that the materials will serve future researchers as well.
Members of the staff are available for consultation. When in doubt or when you think you need help, please ask. We are here to assist you.
