I am enlivened and encouraged by the words of the great human rights advocate, Gandhi: “In a gentle way, you can shake the world. ” With this piece, I simply wanted to stress the idea that each of us has the capacity to incite real change in this world, even if it is through a trivial act. We have the choice to live our lives in a way that shows value to everyone, here and the world over. Human rights issues affect every nation, from the third world countries to our wealthy United States.

The red shapes in this poster represent those nations, the seven continents that make our world. The back of the poster is abstractly showing the great strides that a “gentle shake” can make. I truly believe I can positively rock the world, and so can you.
