The Artist's Statement

MY JOURNEY

My Passion is fueled by My Philosophies through the exploration of the paradoxes and cosmic laws consisting of My Truths. My subject matter is influenced by the conscious and subconscious, good and evil, light and dark. I use these words to fuel My Passion for a never-ending process of Art. As an abstract Artist or (Surrealistic Cubist) I am interested in the State of Mind; a skewed description of external events or how I perceive the physical world. Since I base My paintings on My experience of the contemporary life, My paintings are bound to contain a variety of reflections or refractions of the physical realm. I will use line, color, shape and form to help Me express My thoughts and portray My surroundings.

I also want to provoke a connection with the viewer to get He or She to explore the canvas. By using line, color, shape and form I can push or pull the viewer through the composition like a cue ball bouncing from rail to rail. I feel a large format and strong Hues will entice the viewer to explore the composition and also explore their own thoughts on what they are viewing. These words chaos and order have lead Me to an ongoing series of processing My thoughts and My observations to create art through a style of Abstraction or (Surrealistic Cubism). The work I am producing is dynamic, bold, stimulating and mysterious. The images capture the viewer and entice the eye to explore the compositions.
